1. Application
These terms apply to all relationships between the developer and users concerning the app. Where Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies, these terms supplement it.
2. Fees and in-app purchase
Basic features are available without charge. Some features are provided through Namecho Plus, a non-consumable in-app purchase. Prices and payment terms follow the App Store and in-app display. Apple processes payment and refunds under its rules. Plus supports Family Sharing. If Plus is revoked, such as after a refund, exports regain a watermark; works and version data are not deleted.
3. Saving and backups
Your works are saved only on your device and are not held by the developer. The app uses saving and version-history mechanisms designed to preserve works if writing is interrupted. It cannot prevent loss from device failure, loss, app deletion or damaged storage. Export and keep your own backups.
4. Rights in your works
You retain the rights in works made with the app, including storyboards, scripts and exported files. The Namecho watermark in exports does not affect those rights.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not reverse engineer or decompile the app, act unlawfully or contrary to public order, or infringe the intellectual property or other rights of the developer or third parties.
6. Intellectual property
Intellectual property in the app, its design, logo and program belongs to the developer or legitimate rights holders.
7. Liability
The developer does not guarantee that the app is free from defects or suitable for a particular purpose. Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the developer is not liable for damage caused by use of the app, including loss of works. Where liability arises, compensation is limited to the amount the user paid for the app's paid features, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Changes and discontinuation
The developer may change or discontinue the app and amend these terms. Significant amendments will be announced here. Use after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are interpreted under Japanese law. Disputes between the developer and users concerning the app are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
